The Body Butter:

Protect you skin, it will last you a lifetime. This body butter is an infusion of aromatic and medicinal herbs, delivering buttery texture and a smooth aroma. Not only does this butter feel nice, smell nice, but is empowerd with the anti-inflammatory and soothing properties of resinous calendula and lavender flowers. Meant for dry, cracked or inflammed skin, in large or small patches

Ingredients: Infused oil (grapeseed oil, extra-virgin olive oil* and virgin coconut oil* nfused with SBF lavender, SBF peppermint and SBF calendula) bourbon and vanilla beans), mango butter, Beeswax, rosemary oil antioxidant*, SBF Lavender essential oil

Created from all natural oils, butters and beeswax, and free of synthetic and chemical preservatives. This product will become softer in warm temperatures. We recommend storing in a cool place, away from sunlight.

The Hand Sanitizer:

A spray on hand sanitizer; made from our own farm grown and organically sourced ingredients; 65% ethyl alcohol. Since alcohol content is high, this product is a little drying on skin; we recommend supplemental application of Star Bright Hydrosol, Body Butter or Lavender Cream, 30 seconds after applying hand sanitizer. To counter the drying effects of the alcohol, we use our lovely Rosemary Hydrosol and organic vegetable glycerin

The Hydrosol

Hydrosols are pure floral waters from steam distilled flowering herbs; transforming the botanical resilience of plants into liquid form. The final product is lightly saturated with beneficial plant compounds and a naturally light fragrance. The result is a lightly fragrant distillate with a slight nuttiness, which carries the sensory and chemical properties of the plant distilled. Hydrosols are slightly acidic, with a Ph. that ranges from 4.8-5.9, depending on your botanical material. The final product is a pure, plant derived distillate, which has light fragrance and chemical activity with a wide range of traditional uses. We like to use our hydrosols as a gentle skin toner to cleanse and help balance skin pH.

Our skin has a naturally acidic pH, creating an “acid mantle” that regulates healthy production of sweat and fatty acids. Production of these components creates a protective veil, helping your skin fight of unwanted microbes and surface contaminants. Well balanced pH keep skin alive and protecting itself. Hydrosols facilitate this organic process, keeping skin breathing as it should. It is a solution provided by nature’s chemistry, coaxed along by the farmers’ hands. 

Their gentle concentration make hydrosols suitable for for daily use and frequent application is recommended for best effect. All Star Bright Hydrosols are 100% naturally derived floral waters, with a vibrant shelf life of 12-16 months if treated correctly. There are best stored in a cool space, out of direct sunlight 

All Star Bright Farm hydrosols are 100% pure floral waters. Everything is distilled  here, from fresh botanicals that we grow according to organically minded, holistic farm practices. The whole journey from seed to still happens on the farm, demonstrating an intention to reduce our carbon footprint and bring you a responsibly crafted product.

We distill on traditional, hand forged, Copper alembic stills. Copper is an important part of this process. It is a reactive metal with a negative ionic charge. This charge reacts against many, naturally occurring, sulfide forming yeasts, pulling them from distillate water. This lends to a sweeter, fresher smelling hydrosol, that can be enjoyed right from the still.
