Made by Priya Means Love Body Care, it’s formulation is based on her very popular “Cloud Cream” in the Star Bright version, the water portion is substituted with our organic pure distilled Lemon Verbena Hydrosol and then our very precious Lemon Verbena essential oil is added for additional scent. It has a rich texture that goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly leaving no greasy feeling. A little bit goes along way! For even more luxurious results, spritz your body with our Lemon Verbena Hydrosol and then apply the cream and rub in together!

Lemon Verbena is one of the herbs that we distill last in the season. Since we are too far north to grow as a perennial, we start the plants in early spring in the greenhouse and grow them as large as we can get them and just when they flower, but before a frost we harvest. We dry some of the harvest for our teas, and then distill the rest for the Hydrosols and the essential oil. Unlike Lavender and Rosemary, Lemon Verbena does not produce much essential oil. In 3 distillations ( of 5 gallons of Hydrosol each) we only get 4 ounces if essential oil, therefore we have to be very mindful with how we use it in products!

Ingredients: SBF lemon verbena hydrosol, organic aloe vera, expeller-pressed grapeseed oil, organic virgin coconut oil, organic nilotica shea butter, organic sbf cornflower tincture (organic cane alcohol, sbf cornflowers), organic extra-virgin olive oil infused with sbf calendula blossoms, organic evening primrose oil, cupuacu butter, small farm beeswax, candelilla wax, organic vegetable glycerin, vitamin e from non-gmo sources, and sbf lemon verbena eo
