Celebrating Beautiful Brains: Book Signing for “A Kids Book About Dyslexia" by Sarah Travers - Sept. 15, 2024

  • Star Bright Farm 2950 Garrett Road White Hall, MD, 21161 United States (map)

"Celebrating Beautiful Brains: A Book Signing for A Kids Book About Dyslexia," this event celebrates individuality, creativity, and the potential that lies within every child and adult.

From the author, Sarah Travers:

I wrote this book to help inspire and empower children, parents, educators, and caregivers who are facing a diagnosis of dyslexia. My book helps show them that dyslexia creates a beautifully unique way of thinking that makes an individual perfect just the way they are. I was diagnosed with dyslexia in the second grade, and while it did pose challenges throughout my education journey, it has also been my quiet superpower throughout my entire life. This book is a celebration of unique ways of thinking and learning, as well as a celebration of overcoming obstacles and creating your own path through life. Whether your child has dyslexia, you’re an educator, or someone who believes in the power of different perspectives, this event is for you. Let’s come together to celebrate the unique ways our brains work and foster a supportive community.
